Most times the simple tools are the most effective tools. We recently developed a tool that edits the prefix of an object to contain its phase (there is a way to set your environment to do this, but it causes the numbering series to jump and skip.). It was inexpensive to develop, reduces QA time and tasks, and saves a lot of stress at submission time.
