Key Staff Profiles
Gary Fohl
Gary has 40 years of experience as a Structural Engineering professional providing Documentation & Consulting services to the Steel and Concrete segments of the industry. His directive has always been delivering profitable, risk reduced projects.
He has been actively involved in developing pioneering workflows and projects since the beginning of BIM concepts in the early nineties and has worked directly with innovators in software and building technologies.
From his beginnings of loading time & cost data into Tekla models and scheduling just-in-time deliveries on the Soldier Field renovations, to developing projection methods for locating rebar in precast panel moulds, to using model data for driving production equipment at Butler Systems, to integrating virtual pre-construction walk-throughs for establishing risk reduction methods during Christchurch Rebuild projects, Gary has always been at the forefront.
Gary holds a B.S (Str. Eng) and is currently responsible for workflow and technology strategy at MCE.
Tinashe Dzimiri
Tinashe began his Civil Engineering career with a degree from Harare Polytechnic and came to MCE with 5 years’ experience in structural steel Design and Site/Shop supervision. In his 4 years with MCE he has completed projects within the Industrial, Commercial, Entertainment and Mining arenas with great success.
Tinashe’s knowledge in structural detailing and design comes from his time working for Dickie and Kunaka Consulting Engineers specialising in detailing and production of layout drawings for both concrete and steel.
Additionally, he worked for Pat Dunn and Co for 4 years specialising in Structural Design and 3D modelling, site supervision & inspection, preparation of Material Bills, quotations, and engineering reports. He was involved in a variety of large projects in Zimbabwe such as the Boshoff Drive Warehouse, Mbudzi Round Warehouse, Probottlers Steel Warehouse and Olivine Boiler.
Tinashe is currently advancing his education at Canterbury University and operates as Chief for all steel project Design/Detailing at MCE.
Zeus Christian Paul D.
Zeus’s experience spans 15 years in Steel and Timber structural Design and Detailing. He holds several certifications in Tekla skills as well as a B.Tech in Industrial Technology. His experience heavily leans toward complete Project Management; being the responsible person for the complete construction process of many timber buildings within Singapore.
At MCE Zeus is our Commander of all Timber projects.
Rizwan Shaik
Rizwan’s strength lies in his coding ability. With a B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering and eight years in steel Detailing he is well placed to develop the tools and larger applications to automate our workflows. He is proficient with C#, the .NET framework, and the Tekla API
Rizwan is MCE’s Lead Developer, and responsible for building the automation to make your projects run more effectively.
